Faizal Khamisa is a television anchor at Rogers Sportsnet, based in Toronto. It’s a fancy way of saying he gets to talk about sports for a living every day. Faizal attended the University of Western Ontario, and has an honours degree in Psychology. Following his undergrad, he went to the College of Sports media where he completed a Television and Radio Broadcasting Diploma, and was recruited to work at TheScore television network, where he got his start on national TV. He was awarded the Rottman’s school of management top 5 under 25 in the Sports industry back in 2014. Faizal is also a cancer survivor, and works closely with kids diagnosed with the illness, following his battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma at the age of 16 in 2005. As a result of the treatment, he had his right hip replaced in 2014, meaning you can definitely beat him in a race. He recently shaved his head for cancer research on live TV, to raise money for Sick Kids hospital in Toronto. Faizal has an extensive sneaker collection, and his suits don’t fit him as well as they did a few years ago.
